I would just like to say my prayers are going out to the families of our officers. My husband was good friends with Joe as a child in scouts, and I feel like I knew Joe from the stories my husband Bill Nichols and his father shared with me. I can't image the hurt that you feel, but just know feel the lose also.
I am glad my husband had the chance to share some of his life and memories with Joe.
May God be with you.

God help each of the co-workers of these fallen officers - you will go on, but you'll never forget. For the families - my heart aches for each of you - you'll be meeting other survivors who have lost officers, and they will help you through your grief. There is no easy way through this - but you too will survive and go on. Your loved ones will NEVER be forgotten.

My heart and Prayers go out to the surviving family members. These boys are as important to me as they are to their own families. Why? Because they define the structure for our country. They work hard to protect and serve their country and because of thier effort, I am happy and free.
Thank you for all that you give.
May God greet you and keep you eternally safe now.

To the families of the fallen deputies,
Our prayers go out to you on this day. May God stand by you to aid you in your grief. I understand what it is like for you as I am retired from law enforcement and have attended many funerals for my fallen comrades and theur families. You have a wonderful support system to help you through these tragic times. May God bless your loved ones and may your loved ones always be remembered by those who they helped aid and care for.
To the Sacramento Sheriff's Department Deputies:
May you take these families and care for them as I know you will. It is always a tragic loss when you loose one of your own brothers and even worse when it is two at the same time. You have a strong bond within your ranks and I know this as I started my career with your department many years ago. Keep your comradeship among your organization strong and support one another. Continue to do your duties and your departed fellow comrades would want you too. Even though I am retired, I still honor and commend you in your duties and pray that you all have safe shifts and that God watches over you.
God Bless Our Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Paramedics and Military. You all are our protectors against evil.
With all our sincere appreciation for your continued service,
Larry and Claudia Anderson

Our thoughts and prayers to the families of these fine officers. Take comfort in knowing that they paid the ultimate sacrafice in doing what they loved most, serving others. They are now home with our Lord and savior, protecting the gates of Heaven. Their love and memories will live in our hearts forever. May you know that the Lord has said to them, "Well done good and faithful servant." Although they are no longer with us, we will see them again in Heaven. Spread your wings like eagles my friends, until we meet again...indeed until we meet again at the gates of Heaven...

I write this with tears in my eyes as I am watching the service for these two fallen officers. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families and to the law enforcement community during this tragic time. Though I have never met the officers involved I am still saddened and touched by their loss. Living in the Sacramento for over 30 years and very close to the Antelope/North Highlands area for the last six of those years I have seen the SSD chopper fly almost daily from near by McClellan Park. I am sure that those two officers have flown over my home and other homes near me looking for people that fleeing from the law. When I think back now of the nights of hearing the chopper flying overhead with it's bright light seaching the streets. I can only think that in many cases it may very well have been one or both of those officers. It is strange to think that these mem are gone from the sky. I really enjoyed seeing them in action and knowing that they were there protecting my family as well as the people of Sacramento and the surrounding areas. I know that when I see the SSD chopper in the sky above my home the next time that my first thought will be of those two officers that gave their lives to protect the people of Sacramento and for that we will never forget. They will always be remembered.

My deepest simpathy goes out to all three officers and their families. I can only imagine such a loss, especially since my father is too a deputy for San Mateo County. My prayers are with you and the three men. Thank you to officers, firemen, paramedics, and all forms of the military for protecting our country as well as our communities. Its easy to forget what is put on the line in order to protect those they do not know as well as those they do know and love. Let us pray that we shall never take the men and women forgranted that protect our home lands every day. My prayers are with you always; God bless!

The Sacramento County Sheriff's office was instrumental in finding our daughters killer.
They were professional at all times and at one point a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle's description was seen parked under the Sunrise Blvd bridge over the American River. A Sheriff's helicopter responded within minutes of the sighting to assist in the investigation. It turned out not to be the suspects car but their efforts were and are appreciated.
I do not know who the pilots were that day but I thank them.
May these officers rest in peace and may their families know that we, the people of Sacramento, appreciate their efforts.

"Gods brave hero's will be in our hearts with wonderful Loving Memories".
My heart goes out to the family and friends of these Officers. I myself am a wife of an Officer here in the State of Nv. We here also feel this loss, just like the news says that this is a big family. I myself have felt this the first time my husband & I went for our first ride with the Blue Knights about 5-6 years ago, I didn't want to go because I didn't know anyone, my husband said to give it a chance because this is a big family and they will take us in. So I did and the people were just so wonderful. Now for the last 4 years my husband has been the President of that chapter of the Blue Knights Nv.II. Again I pray for the families and friends for healing of the hearts
