Special thanks to Dave, Lois, and Del Rodgers of KCRA 3 for spending time with the SSD K9 Unit during their evening broadcast and highlighting the vest story.

We received a generous anonymous donation that allows us to purchase 9 bullet proof vests for our beloved K9 partners. With the help of KCRA 3 we hope we can get the word out and raise enough money to outfit the remaining 4 dogs with the same vest. The vests are from K9 storm and cost approximately $1,600 each.
