Long time College Greens East resident Dottie Moore has made a major contribution to The Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association. With her contribution Dottie has ensured that my retired K9 partner Jimmy will receive the best possible care in his retirment. You may have seen a previous story about Jimmy and the reason for his retirement. Jimmy suffured a fibro… in his spine temporarly paralyzing his hind quarters. Jimmy made an amazing recovery but was not able to return to duty and unfortunately had to retire far before his time after just 4 years of service.

Dottie also organized a very succesful fundraiser last year in the College Greens East neighborhood. I can not thank Dottie enough for her support. Dottie’s generous contribution has ensured that my K9 partner Jimmy will receive the best care possible for many years to come and for that I am eternally grateful.
