Employee Campaign

Dear Potential Sponsor,

This is the Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association’s 2nd year participating in the Sacramento County employees’ giving campaign. We ask that you take a moment to learn more about our association and consider making a 100% tax-deductible donation during the campaign which runs from October 1st through the 31st.

The Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association was formed to cover medical bills for our 6 retired SSD K9’s, promote the use of SSD K9’s and police service dogs in the community, provide additional training and equipment for SSD K9’s and their handlers, and to cover burial costs when our partners pass away. We also use donations to maintain our website that has been well received by the public and viewed by dog lovers all over the world.

Generous contributions covered the following so far this year:

  • Surgery for retired SSD K9
  • Medical treatment for retired K9 Jimmy
  • Medication for retired SSD K9’s
  • Chain link kennel for retired SSD K9
  • Burial costs for retired SSD K9 Cezar
  • Website Maintenance/Development
  • Starting October 1st, 2007 you can make a donation through e-pledge on the Sacramento County Intranet if you wish. Click on e-pledge and then follow the log-in instructions. Fill in the following information in the contribute to other 501 (c) 3 organizations section near the bottom:
