Members of the SSD K9 Unit duplicated in training a real life scenario on the rooftop of the Santa Fe Market in North Highlands. In the real life scenario the K9 was harnessed and lifted on the rooftop to investigate a rooftop burglary of the Santa Fe Market. The roof was searched and the suspect was located by the K9 hiding in a large covered air vent. It's important that our dogs are comfortable being in the harness and hoisted on rooftops for situations like these.
