My name is Jonas Berg and I have been working as a K9-handler since 2002. K9 Benzon is my second dog. I got him when he was 4 or 5 years old from a civilian who had only given him the basics. Now he serves as a patrol dog with special rescue and riot control capability.

Benzon is the perfect partner, always on the edge not giving the bad guys an inch, and at the same time a very tolerant "big brother" to our 2 year old son.

Due to back-problems and being almost 9 years old, Benzon is retiring in January 2007 leaving a record of some fifty arrested and apprehended criminals.

The picture shows me and Benzon after an endurance exercise where he succesfully followed a track for 6km. The vehicle is a Volvo V70 CX.
