- Air Operations and the Canine Detail are both assigned to the Special Operations Division within the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. The canine detail has a very close relationship with the Air Op's crew. We train together and handle many calls together. The Air Op's crew's make the canine handlers job safer by giving us very important information that they only are able to provide. The Department is very proud of all the memebers of Air Operations, our five helicopters and four air planes. We will get through this tough time and carry on. We will do this with professionalism and pride just like Joe, Kevin and Eric would expect us to.

- Wanted to let you know that all that you officers do is always appreciated. I'm so sorry for your loss. You all put your own lives on the line everyday. The officers that gave their lives will not be forgotten. May God be with you all during this difficult time.

- You guys are awsome. When I am working at night at Henderickson trucking I see you flying over the houses in the neighborhood. I work for allphase security soon to have another Job with another company on servalance cams, Guardsmark, graveyard so I will not be able to see you fly over at night. Be careful up there at night. My God be with you.
