Greetings from The Netherlands,
Great website and good k9 info. I myself train with a german sheperd for Dutch KNPV police certificate.
Here are two video's that give an impression of Dutch police k9's in training.

Great site. Saw your videos on Bluetube too. Very nice. I particularly liked the memorial that you did. Very nice. I just put my boy down yesterday. http://blutube.policeone.com/Clip.aspx?key=BD2837FD9236A51C if you want to see what he looked like. He is much thinner in the video. The video was actually shot about a week and a half ago.
Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how impressive this site is.

Great race today everyone! My father and I (Thomas) had a wonderful time today, and for such and awesome cause. Will def be there next year, we both have titles to defend! I recieved 1st place in the Woman's 10k ages 18-29 and my dad got 2nd place in his age bracket, I think 50 yrs plus? in the 10k as well. Anyhow, glad we were able to contribute, definately a fun event. Will get the word out, am looking to volunteer for SSDK9 as I am a criminal justice major, and will see if I can get my employer, California Family Fitness to sponsor and have a booth next year.

It is such a very worthy cause and we are very indebted to the wonderful work that the Sheriff's Department and the Canine Unit does on our behalf. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to participate in something to show our appreciation for each of you.

This site is awesome! I would like to take the time to thank each and everyone of you for all the hard work you doing to make a not so perfect world, just a little bit better. Your K-9 unit is outstanding. I work for a Emergency vet and have got the opportunity to provide care for your K-9 officers. It's breaks my heart to hear that one of them as cancer. I wish the best for Kaleo and Deputy Limbird.

Dear Officer Jenkins,
I was so very sad to see in the news this evening that your precious partner Ado was lost in the line of duty. I recognized both of your names, as you had come to our school this year and last for assemblies. All of the children so enjoyed meeting him and were most appreciative that you took the time to bring him in to see us.
My deepest sympathies go out to you. I know this must be so very difficult for you and your family as he was a most special guy- a partner and a dear friend. I will send prayers your way and for him as he gains his wings.

Deputy Jenkins, I am so sorry for your loss. Not being an officer myself, I'll never know how strong and special the bond is between a K9 handler and his dog, but I know it's a bond like no other, and that Ado died doing what he loved for the person he loved.
Best wishes to you, your family, and your unit.

I am so very sorry about your loss. My heart goes out to you. Please accept my condolences. I know how much love is felt for your canine partners. I know my four footed princess is a part of our family.
I heard all the sirnes and helicopter last night but I had no idea what was going on.
I prey you finally catch the scum that led your furry partner into traffic.
Please feel free to contact me at any time, with updates, or if you need someone to work a booth at a fundraiser or some such.
